 Join a growing Brisbane-based building-services engineering consultancy delivering electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire-services design across complex commercial and institutional developments.

The business has built a strong project pipeline and is increasingly winning work traditionally delivered by larger tier-one consultancies. Its portfolio includes hospitals, laboratories, universities, schools, shopping centres, commercial buildings, high-rise developments and major sporting infrastructure.

With a close-knit team of approximately 20 people, the company offers the opportunity to work on substantial projects while remaining visible and valued within the business.


About the role

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Designer or Electrical Drafter to join the electrical building-services team.

This is a hands-on design and drafting position focused on producing practical, coordinated electrical-services documentation using AutoCAD and Revit. You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers across projects from concept and design development through to construction documentation.

The role may suit an Electrical Designer, Electrical Draftsperson, Revit Technician, BIM Modeller or technically capable Electrical Engineer who genuinely enjoys detailed design and drafting work.

The role offers excellent systems support with superior practice management software, ensuring processes are efficient and error-free – making projects “paint by numbers.”

You’ll enjoy a healthy workload where everyone leaves at 5pm, allowing you to thrive in both your career and personal life.


Requirements for this role
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD and Camel or CADDuct
  • Building services drafting experience (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, or fire)
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a consulting engineering team
