About the role As the

This is not primarily a field surveying role. Field work will generally only be required where an on-site investigation or verification is necessary to resolve a cadastral matter.
Requirements for this role We're looking for someone with:
- Significant Queensland cadastral surveying experience
- Registration as a Cadastral Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, or appropriate registration/eligibility
- Strong boundary reinstatement and cadastral knowledge
- Experience checking cadastral surveys and plans
- Strong understanding of Queensland cadastral requirements
- Ability to interpret survey marks, occupation, historical plans, field records and title information
- Strong analytical and survey calculation skills
- Experience investigating and resolving cadastral discrepancies
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence providing technical advice to other surveyors
Experience in
plan examination, cadastral audit, QA, technical review or a senior cadastral advisory role will be highly regarded.
Ready for a different kind of surveying role? If you've spent years building your cadastral knowledge and would like to use that experience in a
senior, predominantly office-based technical position, this could be an excellent next step.
Less routine field work. More technical problem-solving.
