Estimator – Commercial Glazing

This well-established and respected company within the commercial glazing industry, delivering high-quality façade and window solutions across both small-scale and large commercial, industrial and multi-storey developments. About the Role 
 
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a background in commercial glazing to join our team on the Central Coast. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of projects, ranging from smaller commercial works to complex multi-storey and commercial developments. 
 
This is a key role within the business, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure precise pricing and successful tender outcomes.
 
 Key Responsibilities 
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for commercial glazing projects
  • Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Accurately quantify materials, labour, and project costs
  • Work with Capral systems and product ranges (where applicable)
  • Utilise V6 software for estimating and pricing
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
  • Ensure all estimates are delivered within required timeframes
  • Support project handover to delivery teams
  Skills & Experience 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in estimating within the commercial glazing or window industry
  • Strong experience using V6 estimating software (essential)
  • Experience with Capral products/systems (advantageous)
  • Proven ability to work on both small-scale and large commercial, industrial and multi-storey developments
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
 Requirements 
  • Must have full Australian working rights (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Ability to work full-time from the Central Coast office.
