The BDM will join an established and growing technology provider delivering managed solutions across multi-site environments. The business operates at the intersection of software, infrastructure, and networked technology, supporting national clients with large, distributed footprints.

Backed by a hands-on leadership team and a structured sales methodology, the business offers a genuine opportunity to build pipeline, influence strategy, and drive growth in a high-potential market.

About the role

This Brisbane-based Business Development Manager role is a national position focused on winning new business across corporate, retail, government, and transport sectors.

This is a rare BDM opportunity to join a leading company that has developed an industry reputation of being the best. They have an established client portfolio of some of the largest brands in Australia which continues to grow. 

On offer is a highly negotiable base salary, lucrative OTE and benefits.

You will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying and generating leads through to proposal, negotiation, and close. The environment is process-driven, utilising a defined sales methodology such as the MEDDPICC sales methodology.

Key focus areas include:
  • Generating and converting new business opportunities.
  • Targeting multi-site organisations.
  • Engaging with decision-makers and influencers across complex buying groups.
  • Driving structured sales processes from initial contact through to close.
  • Building a sustainable pipeline and improving lead generation outcomes.
Requirements for this role
  • Proven experience in a Business Development Manager or similar sales role.
  • Strong track record of winning new business and building pipeline
  • Experience selling technology, software, or managed services solutions
  • Ability to work within a structured sales methodology such as MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing long and short sales cycles.
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and navigating complex sales processes.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in the field.
  • Established network in technology, software, or audio visual industry sectors and ability to generate leads independently.
