The Opportunity
 
We’re looking for an experienced AV Pre-Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between client requirements and technical delivery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in solution design, estimation, and client-facing technical discussions.
 
You’ll work closely with sales and project teams to develop accurate, innovative AV solutions across a variety of project types.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret client briefs and develop detailed AV system designs
  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and tender submissions
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to define project scope
  • Collaborate with Sales and Project Management teams
  • Produce system schematics, topology diagrams, and documentation
  • Support handovers to delivery teams and assist with technical queries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in design and sales processes
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in AV integration, across areas such as:
    • Technical Sales
    • Estimation
    • System Engineering
    • Project Management
    • Commissioning / Installation
  • Strong understanding of AV system design and audio DSP architecture
  • Experience with AV control systems and integration principles
  • Ability to produce technical documentation, flowcharts, and system designs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project, Outlook)
  • Experience with D-Tools System Integrator (highly regarded)
  • Knowledge of AV technologies and system integration best practices
Certifications (Preferred)
  • Q-SYS Designer
  • Crestron Digital Media / NVX
  • AVIXA CTS
Other Requirements
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Working with Children Check
