Graduate building designer, graduate interior designer. I enjoy doing 3D renders (I use TwinMotion) and would love to do more of that. Drafting I use Revit LT (can use full version of Revit) and SketchUp Pro / Layout. I don't mind mixing my admin and project coordination knowledge with drawing / designing.
Because of the admin / project background, I like to work out systems and templates to make work easier - if you're constantly looking for and loading in the same components / scenes / things every time you do a job, then a template or family farm will make your life a lot easier. I don't have a desktop full of shortcuts or program icons, but I definitely DO have shortcuts (and in my options in commonly used programmes) to where my files are commonly found.
I enjoy spending time with my furry family, and catching up with friends. You can tell when my classmates and I are meeting - we're the ones critiquing the venue. :-) I like to do "where does that road go?" road trips, too.
I enjoyed (and still do) getting the vision in my head out onto the screen - getting the design to work how it was supposed to, or (as I find when I'm modelling my own stuff now) finding out where things *don't* work, and working out how to get them to work - whether that be a design aspect that I haven't identified when I started, or whether it's convincing the programme that it CAN, in fact, do what I want it to. Surprisingly, now that I'm doing some drafting work, I'm finding I enjoy fitting things like kitchens and bathrooms into the space and making them work. (In real life, I tend to ignore the kitchen as much as possible)
