Describe the roles you are interested in

I am seeking an opportunity to become an estimator or quantity surveying as I particularly enjoyed estimating class to analyse project details and accurately quantify the materials, labor, and costs involved. The intricate calculations and attention to detail required in estimating not only challenged me intellectually but also satisfied my desire for precision and accuracy. Additionaliy, my passion for attention to detail, organising, and analytical mindset aligns with an estimator role.

What are your talents/strengths

I am a good team player and always punctual and good at organising, multi-task and managing time, and I have never missed deadlines in my life. What I do is always plan and prioritise tasks, take notes, and use some tools to help myself stay on top of deadlines.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy playing badminton and practicing for attending official games. Also, I like to watch youtube to see the new technologies in the construction industry or interesting projects around the world.

What did you enjoy about the subjects you studied?

During my study, I enjoyed learning quantity surveying techniques and knowledge with the ability to read drawings and use estimation sodtware, as well as learning construction processes, contract management, and tendering processes. Especially, doing 'capstone project' was a great study opportunity to not only create a tender document but also collaborate effectively with team members. These study experiences reinforced my passion for pursuing a career in these fields.
