Describe the roles you are interested in

I am primarily interested in structural design roles, I am also interested in site engineering roles, I would also consider civil design engineer roles however that would not be a first choice for myself.

What are your talents/strengths

I posses excellent leadership skills, I have a wide range of leadership experience which has allow me to refine and tailor my leadership approach depending on the situation. I am an excellent team player, I work excellently within teams and have been commended for my group projects in university. I am a problem solver, I am detail orientated in nature, I love to break problems down and work to understand and alleviate the cause of the issue. I am a deep understanding of the construction process, I have experience as a labourer, design engineer and site engineer. These differing perspectives have allowed me to provide creatives solutions to issues that arise on site that works for all parties.

What are your interests outside of work?

I have a passion for sport particularly Rugby and Gaelic football, I love the teamwork aspect and developing friendships with others, I also go to the gym regularly, to ensure I remain strong and healthy into old age. I love to read, my favourite genres are history and philosophy. I like to figure out how things work, I often spend time searching to see how items I use in my day to day life work. I also like to volunteer my time to help others within my community.

What did you enjoy about the subjects you studied?

I enjoyed problem solving element in assignments and group projects, working individually or within a team to solve an issue provided me with great satisfaction. I enjoyed being tested and being kept outside of my comfort zone, particularly our Innovation leadership class where In a team of 5 I was tasked with delivering a class about the design projects to 100 students. I also enjoyed the industry relevant experience in modules, particular case studies where we received challenging design challenges and were given full reign of the scheme design.
