Describe the roles you are interested in

I have a very open mind when it comes to beginning my career in environmental science. There are so many different paths offered in this field and the only necessity in a role for me is to feel like I am genuinely contributing to positive change. After completing my degree and absorbing all of the knowledge offered throughout my course I am extremely driven to have a long and prosperous career that makes a real difference. A few areas that I am extremely passionate about are climate change, environmental management, ecology and conservation.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work I thoroughly enjoy spending quality time with friends and family. I am a very active person and am happiest at the beach, underwater or on a hike.

What did you enjoy about the subjects you studied?

One thing I enjoyed the most about the subjects I studied is the current relevance of all the challenges and issues they described. Everything I have learnt over the three years of study is extremely relevant to the current position we are particularly here in Australia. I thoroughly enjoyed these units: Ecosystem Regeneration, Aquatic Pollution and Catchment Management and Environmental Chemistry.
