Technical Support Technician (AV / Automation)
Arundel, Gold Coast | Up to $100K + Super

Are you an AV technician who enjoys solving problems — not just installing systems?

A well-established control systems and AV solutions business, is looking for a Technical Support Technician to join their growing team on the Gold Coast.

This is an office-based role supporting integrators and clients across Australia with high-end AV, lighting, and automation systems.

About the Company
Been operating for over 15 years and is a trusted wholesaler of control systems, lighting, and AV automation solutions. With a tight-knit team they pride themselves on technical expertise, strong client relationships, and long-term industry presence.

About the Role
This is a hands-on technical support role where you’ll be the go-to person for troubleshooting and assisting clients.

Your day-to-day will include:
  • Providing phone and email support to customers
  • Remote login troubleshooting of AV and automation systems
  • Diagnosing technical issues and guiding clients to resolution
  • Supporting integrators with system setup and performance issues
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to different backgrounds — but you must have real AV experience.

Ideal candidates will have:
  • Experience in Audio Visual (AV) systems (essential)
  • Exposure to home automation or building automation (highly regarded)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence communicating with clients and installers
  • Ability to work independently in an office-based support role
