Remedial Project Manager

This specialist remedial company in Sydney is expanding their team and are searching for a Project Manager to work on Remedial Building Projects.
 
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Conducting building defect audits
  • Conducting building condition audits
  • Field work including investigations into building defects
  • Preparing detailed and structured reports for various client types
  • Designing and producing Technical Specifications for remedial building projects
  • Administering tender processes
  • Project managing remedial building projects
  • Providing Expert Witness services (for some candidates)
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:
  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in the remedial building sector
  • A great understanding of building principles and design
  • A great understanding of remedial construction techniques and materials
  • A sound understanding of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards
  • A-grade English communication skills – written and oral
  • Ability to work independently and also collaboratively within a team
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding etc
  • Must have great professional ethics and operate with integrity
  • Must be motivated and willing to make an impact
  • Must appreciate the confidential nature of some of our work
 
OTHER POTENTIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
  • Rope access qualifications or willingness to be trained in this qualification
  • Particular experience in fields of Waterproofing, Concrete, Facades
  • Drafting / CAD experience
  • Trade or Building experience
  • Project Management experience
