Accelerate your Estimating Career We’re looking for a Junior to Intermediate Mechanical Estimator to join a leading HVAC team based in Inner City Brisbane. This is a rare opportunity to step into a contractor delivering high-profile projects for tier one clients—with full support, structure, and mentorship to become a Senior Estimator.
Whether you’re starting out or already have a few years under your belt, this role offers hands-on involvement in large-scale mechanical services tenders, plus the chance to work closely with one of Brisbane’s most respected estimating managers.
What You’ll Do
  • Assist in preparing mechanical tenders for major commercial HVAC projects
  • Learn to interpret mechanical plans and specifications; perform accurate take-offs
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants for pricing and scope
  • Support estimating leadership with cost planning, budgeting, and bid preparation
  • Progress steadily into more senior responsibilities as your capability grows
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–4 years’ experience in HVAC estimating, mechanical services, or building services
  • Backgrounds in mechanical engineering, construction management, or trade-based estimating all welcome
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and drive to develop your technical and commercial skills
