Cadastral Surveyor: Team Leader - Brisbane
Relocate to Sunny Queensland for this Leadership Opportunity
The Company: A well-regarded surveying consultancy delivering exceptional results across
luxury residential subdivisions, boutique estates, and large-scale housing developments. Known for its technical precision and strong developer partnerships, the company has a robust pipeline of projects throughout South-East Queensland. The team culture is professional, supportive, and forward-looking, making it an attractive destination for surveyors ready to take the next step. The company is in succession planning and this role will inherit the Cadastral Leadership role as soon as possible.
The Role: An excellent opportunity exists for a
Senior Cadastral Surveyor / Team Leader to join a growing practice in Queensland. The role involves managing cadastral surveys for
high-end residential developments and master planned estates, leading survey teams, and liaising with key stakeholders to deliver projects from field to final registration.
This position is ideally suited to a surveyor currently based in
NSW or Northern NSW who is considering relocating to sunny Queensland. With its enviable lifestyle, outdoor living, and (of course) better State of Origin prospects, Queensland offers both professional opportunity and personal reward.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cadastral survey projects for luxury residential and housing developments
- Mentoring and managing field and drafting staff
- Ensuring compliance with both NSW and QLD cadastral legislation and survey standards
- Preparing and certifying survey plans and documentation
- Building strong relationships with clients, developers, and local authorities
The Person: The successful candidate will be a cadastral professional who enjoys both technical challenges and leadership responsibilities. You will bring strong residential land development experience, excellent client skills, and the ambition to step into a leadership-focused role.
Essential attributes:
- Registered Cadastral Surveyor with the NSW Surveyors Board
- Eligibility for registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland
- Experience across cadastral projects in residential and subdivision developments
- Strong understanding of cadastral legislation and compliance across jurisdictions
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability
- Motivated to relocate (or already located) in Queensland and enjoy the lifestyle benefits
