Business Development & Operations Manager

About the Opportunity
Here’s your chance to lead the Australian launch of a world-class innovation transforming how construction projects move and operate.
This cutting-edge system has already proven itself internationally — boosting productivity, improving safety, and reducing costs. Now it’s ready for the Australian market, and we’re looking for a driven, hands-on professional to make it happen.
You’ll have demonstration units ready to deploy, CRM systems in place, and full product and sales training provided. All that’s missing is the person to bring it to life.

The Role As Business Development Manager / Operations Manager , you’ll be the driving force introducing this breakthrough technology across Australia.
Initially, you’ll be hands-on — running live demonstrations, visiting sites, and building relationships with builders and subcontractors.
As the business grows, you’ll step into a leadership role overseeing operations, national sales, and strategic growth.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Deliver and install systems on active construction sites
  • Conduct live demos and training sessions for site managers and contractors
  • Generate new business with builders and subcontractors
  • Manage leads, proposals, and sales activity through an established CRM
  • Represent the brand at trade events and industry expos
  • Grow into a leadership position as market demand scales
About You You’re a natural builder — of relationships, markets, and teams. You combine commercial acumen with practical, on-site experience and thrive on showing clients a smarter way to work.

You’ll bring:
  • 3–5 years B2B sales experience in construction, industrial equipment, or materials handling
  • Hands-on understanding of site operations and equipment setup
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence with technical demonstrations
  • CRM proficiency and reporting discipline
  • A self-starting attitude with a commercial mindset
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and full work rights
Bonus points for:
  • Experience in plant hire, logistics, or construction tech
  • Existing industry network
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
