About the role As the AV Commissioning Technician, you’ll play a critical role in leading the onsite installation, configuration, and commissioning of integrated AV systems across a range of Melbourne-based projects. You’ll be responsible for coordinating a team of installers, ensuring projects are delivered to specification and standard, and supporting smooth handovers to clients. This AV Commissioning Technician role is ideal for someone who wants to be both hands-on and influential—owning the technical delivery while mentoring others and working directly with project stakeholders.
Requirements for this role
  • Proven background in AV, electrical, data, or telecommunications installation and commissioning.
  • Experience with AV brands and systems such as Crestron, QSC, Biamp, and Polycom.
  • Ability to interpret AV drawings, schematics, and floor plans.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to lead or coordinate teams on site.
  • A valid Victorian driver’s license and current right to work in Australia.
  • Based in Melbourne or willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
